Custom Order Frequently Asked Question

Q- How do I get a price quote for a custom piece?

A-      Contact me through my web site, Facebook or Instagram with what it is you want built. Please include a name, phone number, pictures dimensions and finish you would like IE Stain, paint or a combo. Please be aware it takes a fair amount of effort to quote custom pieces so it may take a few days to get your quote together.

Q- How long is the quote good for?

A-      30 days. However, with my schedule possibly being out past that 30-day mark during certain times of the year you can lock your quoted price by giving a 10% deposit and securing a time on my schedule.

Q- IS my 10% deposit refundable if I decide to not have the piece build?

A-      Yes, is you cancel your order within 10 days of the scheduled start date I will refund the full deposit.  If you cancel with less than 10 days, the deposit is nonrefundable.

Q- Does your quote include delivery?

A-      No all items are quoted with pickup from Grantsville Utah. Delivery is available for a fee of $2.00 per mile one way using google maps from zip code 84029 to your address.

Q- How long do I have to pick up my piece of Furniture?

A-      Due to limited shop space, I ask you be able to pick up your piece within 3 days of completion. If you cannot do this, please make arrangements with me prior to construction of your custom piece.

Q- Do you offer a Warranty on your products?

A-      I only offer a warranty on my workmanship. Please keep in mind I am selling real wood pieces that could potentially crack, shrink or bow in certain areas. Not always common but Definitely a possibility. Remember, wood is an organic product with a mind of it’s own. We believe any of these features (cracks, knots, bowing, gaps) just add to the beauty & uniqueness in each piece. We will not offer refunds or exchanges if any of these instances are to occur.

Q- What if I don’t like to colors I picked or the colors don’t look like I thought they would?

A-      I will only use colors of stain and paint that you approve prior. If you decided, you don’t like the color or stain choice unfortunately its very difficult and extremely time consuming to do a color change after it has been stained or painted once. The cost of a color change will be billed at a time and material rate that includes the full cost of material and a labor rate of $25 per hour.
